This is a water fountain from Bellinzona in southern Switzerland (a beautiful and interesting old town).
A lot of European towns have public water fountains and they always intrigue me - what history have they seen and who has made use of such civic generosity over the years?? There is a story here... Not many people use them these days - health and safety I guess. But this one was useful for rinsing hands sticky after an icecream
I like this picture because of the textures of the surfaces and the colours of the background wall.

I don't think you could upset your watcher's at all! Especially with something as different as this, it's nice, it makes me wonder what other things you could have up your sleeve 
That does sound like a very interesting water fountain too and I like the look of it as well. I think you captured the colors and textures of it nicely, it's one of those things that is so simple, yet you can think about so much.
